What your child will learn from Project Plant It!
Your child will learn about the value of trees, including how they moderate climates, improve air quality, absorb carbon, harbor wildlife, prevent soil erosion and reduce heating and cooling costs.
Each January, all participating teachers receive a Project Plant It! kit filled with lesson plans and activities. Shortly before Arbor Day each participating student will receive a tree seedling. In celebration of Arbor Day, students will experience the fun of planting their very own tree.
